New York have launched a $5.7m celebrity campaign "Just Ask the Locals" to boost the city's tourism back to a local levels.
The campaign fronted celebrities including actors Robert De Niro and Julianne Moore and 50 street teams of ambassadors was deployed throughout the city. Visitors could also access insider's tips via a special phone line and a website.
